We’re going to talk about worship, love, justice, and the power of song as we listen to Sara’s newest best-of album.
Wednesday, October 23 – Ed Welch – Shame and Co-Dependence – Are you controlled by the opinions of others? Are you wrestling with shame because of events or choices in your past? On the next Live the Promise Susie welcomes counselor Ed Welch back to the program. We’re going to unpack the dangers of codependency and look at how Christ sets us free from shame. Ed’s book is When People Are Big and God Is Small.
Thursday, October 24 – Gary Thomas – Sacred Pathways – Does the idea of sitting quietly with a devotional seem hard for you? Maybe you connect with God more through worship music, or time outdoors. Listen as Susie talks with author and speaker Gary Thomas about Sacred Pathways. We’re going to look at how God wired each of us to connect with Him in a deep and meaningful way.
Friday, October 25 – Chris Fabry (Recorded) – Novel Talk – When we’re wrestling with discontentment, it helps to refocus on the faithfulness and promises of God. Today Susie is joined by author and radio host Chris Fabry. Chris will share his own faith journey and talk about his new novel, Every Waking Moment.
Saturday, October 26 – Susie – The Uncommon Christian – What does it mean to live an uncommon life? Are you an ’uncommon’ Christian? On the weekend edition of Live the Promise we’ll hear Susie unpack a message from her book, The Uncommon Woman. She explored what it means to lean on God for ALL of our strength, and live trusting in Him.
