Monday, December 2 – Julie Gorman – Restoring Men –When a woman has been hurt by men in the past, she can struggle with seeing them as godly and trustworthy. Listen as Susie is joined by life coach Julie Gorman. We’re going to look at the lies women believe about men, and how we can view them as God does, with honor and grace. Julie’s book is What I Wish My Mother Had Told Me About Men.

Tuesday, December 3 – Mark and Jill Alan (In Studio) – The Artist’s Corner – Christmas is on the way, and with it comes amazing hymns and carols. Today musician Mark Alan of Emmanuel Christian Center is back in studio with his wife Jill. We’re going to spend some time in worship of our Savior, and meditating on the promises and joy of Christmas.

Today Susie is joined again by pastor Brady Boyd of New Life Church to unpack his book, Sons and Daughters. We’ll explore how to live in God’s family and embrace our new identity.

Thursday, December 5 – Ann Voskamp – The Greatest Gift – Christmas is about giving. But it’s not just about boxes and wrapping paper. We were given a Savior. Today on Live the Promise Susie talks with author and blogger Ann Voskamp. She’s written a new book on the meaning of Christmas, and we’re going to look at The Greatest Gift you’ve ever been given.

Friday, December 6 – Jimmy Page – One Word – Renew. Focus. Community. What’s your ‘one word’? Listen as Susie welcomes author and radio host Jimmy Page back to the program. We’re going to talk about what it means to choose a theme word, for your life, or for the year, and how that affects our walk with God.
