Monday, April 22 – Mark Alan (In Studio) – Music and Worship – Something powerful happens when we set God’s Word to music. On the next Live the Promise, Pastor Mark Alan of Emmanuel Christian Church joins Susie in studio to talk about his music ministry and faith journey. Join us for an hour of worship and learning to walk in faith.
Tuesday, April 23 – Mark Batterson – Draw the Circle – There is a way to experience a deeper, more passionate, persistent, and intimate prayer life. Today on Live the Promise Susie talks with Mark Batterson of National Community Church. Mark has written a new book titled Draw the Circle, and he’ll teach us a new way to pray with boldness and witness God at work in our lives.
Wednesday, April 24 – Heather Caillier (In Studio) – Breaking Free –There are more slaves in existence now that at any other point in history. Today Susie welcomes her friend, Heather Caillier, to the studio. Heather is one of those working on the front lines with those who have come out of human trafficking. We highlight her ministry, Breaking Free, and learn more about how to get involved to end trafficking and prostitution.
Thursday, April 25 – Lisa Bevere – Girls with Swords – If there was ever a time for women to be armed, it's now. Today Susie and Lisa Bevere of Messenger International give women everywhere a charge, to use the Word of God as a sword and arm themselves against spiritual attack. Lisa will encourage us to be courageous, discerning, forgiving, and wise.
Friday, April 26 – Bo Stern – Beautiful Battlefields – Are you in a beautiful battlefield? How does God show Himself to be strong in our weakness? Listen as Susie talks with author Bo Stern. She’s walking through a deep valley and will help us unpack a theology of doing battle in the midst of suffering. If you’re in the middle of a trial, you’ll want to hear this program. Bo’s book is Beautiful Battlefields.
Saturday, April 27 – Paul Coughlin – Guard Against Bullies – We are commanded to speak up for the least of these, whether in our church or in our school. What can we do to prepare our children, and ourselves, to stand up for those who are being bullied? On the weekend edition of Live the Promise we hear Susie’s discussion with Paul Coughlin of The Protectors. Paul has a heart for students who are targeted by their peers and he’ll share some ways we can stop bullying, or prevent it altogether.
