Monday, August 12 – Caroline Barnett – Willing to Walk on Water – Life seems safer and more secure when we’re in the boat. But when God calls us to take His hand and step out onto the water, He calls us to a life filled with passion and purpose. Today on Live the Promise Susie talks again with Caroline Barnett of The Dream Center. We explore what it looks like to take radical steps of faith and being Willing to Walk on the Water.
Tuesday, August 13 – Angie Smith – Mended – No one is too broken for God to use. Listen as Susie talks with author and Women of Faith speaker Angie Smith, wife of Selah’s Todd Smith. We look at the ways God uses broken, imperfect vessels to show His love and glory to the world.
Wednesday, August 14 – Kay Warren (Recorded) – Choose Joy – Did you know that joy can be a choice in life, no matter how difficult your circumstances? Today Susie’s guest is Kay Warren, wife of Pastor Rick Warren. Kay is going to share her heart for men and women to find joy rather than happiness, and we look at the ways Christians can experience it in every situation. She’ll help us Choose Joy.
Thursday, August 15 – Robert and Bobbie Wolgemuth (Recorded) – Couples of the Bible – Adam and Eve, Moses and Zipporah, Aquila and Priscilla. Listen as Susie talks with Robert and Bobbie Wolgemuth about the couples we find in Scripture. They’ll unpack stories of marriage, and talk about how we can learn from their journeys of faith, disobedience, love, forgiveness, and perseverance.
