Monday, August 26 – Tessa Afshar – Harvest of Gold – When God calls us to do something, how do we press on in the midst of opposition? Today Susie welcomes back novelist Tessa Afshar. She’s written a new novel, set in the time of Nehemiah, and we’re going to look at how he and his followers rebuilt Jerusalem while facing down the scorn of others.

Tuesday, August 27 – Chip Ingram – True Spirituality – What does it mean to be truly spiritual? Today on Live the Promise Susie talks again with pastor and Faith Radio programmer Chip Ingram of Living on the Edge. We’re going to look at what it means to live a ‘Romans 12’ life, and why following Christ is more than a set of rules or rituals.

Wednesday, August 28 – Dan and Sandy Adler (In Studio) – The Artist’s Corner – Listen as Susie welcomes her friends Dan and Sandy Adler of Heart of the City Worship Band to the studio. They’re going to share worship songs from their new CD and talk about the God Who loves and reconciles us to Himself, and to each other.
