On the next Live the Promise, we spend some time reflecting on God’s redemptive nature in trials. Tuesday, January 28 – Mark Batterson – All In – Following Christ means living a radical life of surrender – in other words, being All In. Today Susie talks with author and pastor Mark Batterson of National Community Church. We’ll explore what it means to follow Christ no matter what the cost.
Wednesday, January 29 – Matt Keller – God of the Underdogs – Do you feel too weak or broken to be used by God? Here’s an enduring truth: God is powerful enough to use even the least of us. Listen as Susie talks with author Matt Keller. He’s going to share why God delights in using ‘underdogs’ for His purposes.
Thursday, January 30 – Renee Swope – A Confident Heart – Many women wrestle with the feeling of not being good enough, smart enough, pretty enough. How can we learn to let God define and speak to us? On the next Live the Promise Susie’s guest is author and Proverbs 31 speaker Renee Swope. We’ll talk about how to embrace our identity and fulfill our God-given purpose.
Friday, January 31 – Bill and Pam Farrel (Recorded) – Before We Say ‘I Do’ – What should a couple know before they decide to get married? Today Susie welcomes back husband and wife duo Bill and Pam Farrel. We’ll look at communication, preparing for marriage, and how to appreciate the differences between men and women. Bill and Pam’s new book is The Before-You-Marry Book of Questions.
Saturday, February 1 – Matt Gilman – The Artist’s Corner – God gives every person a unique story, and we can show His glory by sharing it with others. How are you sharing your story? On the weekend edition of Live the Promise we hear Susie’s discussion with musician Matt Gilman. We’ll hear Matt’s testimony and heart for God as we listen to his songs.
