Nick has overcome trials and hardships by focusing on the promises that he was created for a unique and specific purpose, that his life has value and is a gift to others, and that no matter the despair and hard times in life, God is always present. Today Susie and Nick talk about his new book about perseverance in action, titled Unstoppable. 

Tuesday, October 9 – Per Nilsen (In Studio) Spiritual Gifts and Fruit – How can we cultivate both spiritual gifts and spiritual fruit in our Christian walk? Today Susie welcomes back Pastor Per Nilsen to the studio! We’ll explore the connection between community and personal growth.

Wednesday, October 10 – Beth and Jay Loecken – Passion to Action! – Has God called you to take a radical step for His kingdom? Today we welcome back a family who was called from their home, onto the road, to “roll” with the gospel! Jay Loecken (LAY-kenn) and his wife Beth bought an RV and decided to bring their family on the road, to serve and love others. Jay and Beth share the story with Susie in their new book, Passion to Action.

Thursday, October 11 – Dr. Philip Carlson – Love Written in Stone Sometimes the term “boundaries” carries a sense of limitation, of restraint rather than love. Today Susie welcomes author and doctor Philip Carlson to the show to talk about his recent book, Love Written in Stone: Finding God’s Grace in the Boundaries He Sets. We’ll explore how God’s principles and guidelines for relationships, nutrition, sexuality and rest are supported by modern discoveries in science and medicine!

Friday, October 12 – David and Jodi Pierce (In Studio) – Steiger International – Today we meet a couple that ministers to the darkest corners of society to shine the light of Christ. David and Jodi Pierce of Steiger International have traveled around the world, from the red light districts of Amsterdam to anarchy festivals, New Age gatherings and closed Islamic countries. Their passion is to reach the secular youth with the gospel, and they join Susie in studio to share their story.

Saturday, October 13 – Craig Groeschel – Soul Detox As standards of conduct continue to erode in our shock-proof world, we must fight the soul pollution threatening our health, our faith, and our witness to others. Without even knowing it, people willingly inhale second-hand toxins poisoning their relationship with God and stunting their spiritual growth. Today Susie welcomes back pastor Craig Groeschel of lifechurch.tv to talk about his new book, Soul Detox. We examine the toxins that assault us daily including: toxic influences, toxic emotions, and toxic behaviors, and talk about how to counter-act their effects on our faith.

We start to measure our value by how polite and successful they are, and our mood fluctuates with their bad choices. Today Susie welcomes back pastor and author Ted Cunningham to talk about his newest book, Trophy Child. He’ll unpack how to raise children for the glory of God and prepare them for His call on their life.

Wednesday, October 3 – Tim Stafford – Miracles – Modern-day reports of miracles capture our attention, but we aren't always sure which ones to believe. Together we explore the appeal of our idols, uncover their lies, and learn how to run back to Christ for our identity.
