Tuesday, November 27 – Bill and Pam Farrel Men Are Like Waffles –Men and women are wired differently. How can we learn to laugh at the differences instead of fight over them? Friday, November 30 – Jim Martin – The Just Church – Are you ready for a new way to seek justice - an ancient way to know God? Today Susie talks with Jim Martin of International Justice Mission. He’s written a new book titled The Just Church. IJM is an expert at not only at rescuing victims of violence, sex trafficking, slavery, and oppression, but also at bringing churches into the fight. Today Susie welcomes back Bible teacher Dee Brestin to discuss her new book, Idol Lies. Together we explore the appeal of our idols, uncover their lies, and learn how to run back to Christ for our identity.

Tuesday, November 13 – Brian Kluth Experiencing God As Your Provider – Americans have spent years building their financial houses that were like sand castles on the beach. Now, strong ocean tides and ground-shaking tremors beyond our control are beginning to move in and our sand castles are cracking and dissolving. Today Susie talks again with pastor and generosity expert Brian Kluth to talk about his book, Experiencing God As Your Provider. Today Susie unpacks a recent message from Faith Radio programmer Colin Smith of Unlocking the Bible. Together we examine what the Scriptures say about unbelief and repentance.

Friday, November 9 – Jim Daly – Refocus –Today Susie takes your calls as we examine how to be under authority as a Christ-follower. How can we honor Christ with our service if we disagree with the leader we’re serving? Then Susie welcomes back Jim Daly, president of Focus on the Family, to talk about his new book, Refocus. We discuss how to pray and engage our culture in the aftermath of a heated election.

Saturday, November 10 – Eric Metaxas – Jesus Hates Dead Religion Jesus came to die for us and set us free from death, guilt, shame, and dead religion. On Feb. 2 of this year, author Eric Metaxas stood before legislators, religious leaders, and journalists at the National Prayer Breakfast and courageously presented the gospel. His speech caused a stir both inside and outside the Christian community, and he joins us to unpack his book, based on his message, Jesus Hates Dead Religion.

Monday, October 22 – Nichole Nordeman – Love Story – Today we’ll look at the love of God woven throughout the pages of Scripture. Susie welcomes singer Nichole Nordeman to the show to talk about her new book, Love Story. The Bible is God’s love story for us, and Susie and Nichole explore what that means for our lives and the worship that follows.

Tuesday, October 23 – Christi Paul (Recorded) Recovering From Abuse – Like millions of other women, HLN anchor Christi Paul blamed herself for the intense emotional abuse heaped on her by her first husband, whose violent, drunken, profanity-laced tirades left her feeling as though she had no value, no self-worth, and nowhere to turn for help. Then one day the verse “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” came to Christi’s mind, and she realized that she did in fact have someplace to turn after all. Holding fast to her Christian faith, Christi began the arduous process of rebuilding her self-esteem and regaining control of her life. Today she joins Susie to share her story from her new book, Love Isn’t Supposed To Hurt.

Wednesday, October 24 – Chonda Pierce (Recorded) – The Importance of Laughter – ‘Laughter is the best medicine,’ we’re told. Today Susie talks with comedienne Chonda Pierce about balancing deep devotion to God with the importance of laughter! We’ll also talk about her new DVD, Kind of a Big Deal.

Thursday, October 25 – Nina Barnes (Recorded) – Hope and Healing –God can bring us out of the darkest times into His marvelous light. Today Susie is joined by friend Nina Barnes to share her story of hope, healing, and deep faith in God. We’ll look at God’s power in suffering, as well as the peace He gives us.

Friday, October 26 – Matt Maher (Recorded) – Rise Up – Today Susie talks with recording artist Matt Maher about his faith, his love of music, and how he makes time for God amid a busy life and tour schedule. We’ll also hear Matt sing a few of his favorite songs in studio!

Saturday, October 27 – Stephen Mansfield – Healing Your Church Hurt The body of Christ is meant to be a place of healing, strength, and community. When we experience wounds, weakness, gossip, and rejection in church, it can lead to pain and broken relationships. How can we start to come back into a church family after a negative experience? Monday, October 15 – David and Jodi Pierce (In Studio) – Steiger International – Today we meet a couple that ministers to the darkest corners of society to shine the light of Christ. David and Jodi Pierce of Steiger International have traveled around the world, from the red light districts of Amsterdam to anarchy festivals, New Age gatherings and closed Islamic countries. Their passion is to reach the secular youth with the gospel, and they join Susie in studio to share their story.

Tuesday, October 16 – Will Davis Jr. (Recorded) Pray Big! – Do you believe God for big things? God loves to give good things to His children, but sometimes we’re afraid to ask Him for them. Today Susie’s guest is Will Davis Jr., author of Faith Set Free and Pray Big! They discuss the power of asking the Lord to move in a specific and life-changing way.

Wednesday, October 17 – Aaron Shust – Worship – Music is one of the key ways God ministers to us, and today we’ll explore that truth. Susie welcomes musician Aaron Shust to the program. Saturday, October 20 – Tessa Afshar – Harvest of Rubies Tessa Afshar was born in Iran into a nominal Muslim family. After coming to Christ in her twenties Tessa authored several books, including Pearl in the Sand. Today she joins Susie to talk about her newest novel, written about Nehemiah’s fictional cousin, titled Harvest of Rubies.
