There's Always a Way

My speaking season runs from September through May. This past season challenged me like never before. On one hand, I saw God move in ways that inspired me to greater faith, and on the other hand, my health was so fragile that I was constantly reminded of my humanity. Every step was a faith step, every struggle was a battle for perspective, and every victory was a reminder that with God, all things are possible.

My speaking season ended and summer was in full swing. We prepped for my middle son's graduation open house, we had water damage from a backed up toilet, and I needed surgery to repair a hernia. Amidst all of this craziness, I needed to be writing a book!

I was tired and somewhat overwhelmed at the thought of staring at a blank computer screen and trying to fill it with words that would bless others.

I stepped away from my computer and grabbed my Bible and my journal. I went out on my deck, sat down on my little swing and looked up at the trees blowing in the breeze. I'm always overwhelmed by trees and beautiful skies. They remind that God is creative and beautiful.

I alternated my time between reading God's Word and listeniing to His voice. He reminded me of a few things. I believe these words will encourage you as well.

Here they are:

*There is no limit when the Kingdom of God is in my midst.

*God has prepared and conditioned me for such a time as this.

*Nothing is impossible with God.

*I am perfectly positioned - at the sea of impossibility - for God to reveal His glory and do a mighty work.

*God brought me to it and He'll bring me through it.

*God is for me not against me.

*God is big in me and through me.

*God is able to perform His great wonders in my midst.

*God will make a way where there seems not to be one.

*God will establish His purposes for me.

*The Lord God will bring it to pass.

*All of God's promises are "Yes!" and Amen!

*My God will supply ALL of my needs according to what is in HIS account, not mine.

*I am well able to possess every heavenly gift so that I may live a powerful life on earth.

*I can do everything He gives me to do today.
