Pastor Mike Glenn of Brentwood Baptist Church is joining Susie in-studio to unpack his book, The Gospel of Yes.

Friday, May 24 – Angie Smith –Mended No one is too broken for God to use. Today on Live the Promise Susie is broadcasting live from Nashville! Listen as Susie talks with Women of Faith speaker Angie Smith, wife of Selah’s Todd Smith. We look at the ways God uses broken, imperfect vessels to show His love and glory to the world.

Today on Live the Promise Susie welcomes New York Times best-selling author Stephen Mansfield back to the program to explore the gripping story of the trial and death of Jesus. Stephen’s new book is Killing Jesus.

Tuesday, May 14 – Andrew Peterson – The Journey of Faith – How can we use creativity and music to express truth in a post-modern culture? On the next Live the Promise Susie talks with singer-songwriter Andrew Peterson. We’ll unpack his faith journey, writing process, and his brand new single titled ‘You’ll Find Your Way.’

Wednesday, May 15 – Robert and Bobbie Wolgemuth – Couples of the Bible – Adam and Eve, Moses and Zipporah, Aquila and Priscilla. Listen as Susie talks with Robert and Bobbie Wolgemuth about the couples we find in Scripture. They’ll unpack stories of marriage, and talk about how we can learn from their journeys of faith, disobedience, love, forgiveness, and perseverance. 

Thursday, May 16 – Joni and Ken Tada – An Untold Love Story – “In sickness and in health, ‘til death do us part.” God gives us strength to weather every storm, and He brings beauty out of every trial. On the next Live the Promise Susie is joined by Joni and Ken Tada to talk about their faith story, marriage, cancer journey, and the God Who sustained them through every circumstance.

Friday, May 17 – Susie –Music and Worship Day Sometimes we need to take some time for rest and refreshment. Today we’re taking your calls and playing songs of worship. What song or artist is ministering to you right now? Join us as we worship God through music and take your stories of prayer and praise!

Saturday, May 18 – Jamie Longo – Hope for 1,000 Hills – God calls us to bring His message to every tribe, every tongue, every nation. On the weekend edition of Live the Promise we hear Susie’s discussion with her good friend, Jamie Longo. Jamie’s involved with an amazing ministry based in Rwanda and she shared her vision for the gospel to spread in this country.

On the next Live the Promise, Pastor Mark Alan of Emmanuel Christian Church joins Susie in studio to talk about his music ministry and faith journey. Join us for an hour of worship and learning to walk in faith.

Tuesday, April 23 – Mark Batterson – Draw the Circle – There is a way to experience a deeper, more passionate, persistent, and intimate prayer life. Today on Live the Promise Susie talks with Mark Batterson of National Community Church. Mark has written a new book titled Draw the Circle, and he’ll teach us a new way to pray with boldness and witness God at work in our lives.

Wednesday, April 24 – Heather Caillier (In Studio) – Breaking Free –There are more slaves in existence now that at any other point in history. Today Susie welcomes her friend, Heather Caillier, to the studio. Heather is one of those working on the front lines with those who have come out of human trafficking. We highlight her ministry, Breaking Free, and learn more about how to get involved to end trafficking and prostitution.

Thursday, April 25 – Lisa Bevere – Girls with Swords – If there was ever a time for women to be armed, it's now. Today Susie and Lisa Bevere of Messenger International give women everywhere a charge, to use the Word of God as a sword and arm themselves against spiritual attack. Lisa will encourage us to be courageous, discerning, forgiving, and wise.

Friday, April 26 – Bo Stern – Beautiful Battlefields – Are you in a beautiful battlefield? How does God show Himself to be strong in our weakness? Listen as Susie talks with author Bo Stern. She’s walking through a deep valley and will help us unpack a theology of doing battle in the midst of suffering. If you’re in the middle of a trial, you’ll want to hear this program. Bo’s book is Beautiful Battlefields.

Saturday, April 27 – Paul Coughlin – Guard Against Bullies – We are commanded to speak up for the least of these, whether in our church or in our school. What can we do to prepare our children, and ourselves, to stand up for those who are being bullied? On the weekend edition of Live the Promise we hear Susie’s discussion with Paul Coughlin of The Protectors. Paul has a heart for students who are targeted by their peers and he’ll share some ways we can stop bullying, or prevent it altogether.

Today on Live the Promise Susie talks with Caroline Barnett of The Dream Center. We’ll explore what it looks like to take radical steps of faith, and being Willing to Walk on the Water.

Wednesday, April 10 – Josh and Ryan Shook – Firsthand Faith If you’ve been raised in a Christian home, it can be too easy to accept your parents’ faith as your own. How can we develop our own walk with Jesus that will continue into adulthood? On the next Live the Promise, Susie is joined by brothers Josh and Ryan Shook. They’ll challenge us to cultivate our faith and put down roots in the Word of God.

Thursday, April 11 – Dan Adler (In Studio) – The Heart of Worship – When we’re going through hardship, we can find comfort and strength in Christ-centered music. Today Susie welcomes her good friend, musician Dan Adler, to the studio, to look at the connection between music and faith, and hear some of his newest songs.

Friday, April 12 – Shaunti Feldhahn – For Men Only, For Women Only – Sometimes the differences between men and women can be exhausting, confusing, or frustrating. But there are ways we can learn from the differences, and use them to strengthen our relationships. Today on Live the Promise Susie is joined by relationship expert Shaunti Feldhahn about the way God wired us to interact and communicate.

Saturday, April 13 – Jimmy Page – One Word – Sometimes one word can change your perspective. On the weekend edition of Live the Promise we hear Susie’s discussion with author Jimmy Page. Jimmy’s co-written a new book called One Word That Will Change Your Life. They talked about what it means to choose a theme word, for your life, or for the year, and how that affects our walk with God.

Today Susie talks with author and pastor Tony Scott. We unpack The Diamond Life, and the sanctification that happens in the life of every believer.

Wednesday, April 3 – Suzanne Eller – Forgiveness Sometimes the ones who love us the most, wound us the most. How can we learn to let go of bitterness and forgive those who hurt us? Listen as Susie talks with friend and fellow author Suzie Eller. We’re going to look at the process of moving from anger and distance to forgiveness and reconnection.

Today Susie welcomes back John Eldredge of Ransomed Heart Ministries. John will help us unpack the meaning of freedom in Christ, and The Utter Relief of Holiness.

Friday, April 5 – Ron Rhodes – The End Times in Chronological Order – What are the signs of Jesus’ coming? Listen as Susie talks again with Bible scholar Ron Rhodes. We’re going to talk again about his book, The End Times in Chronological Order, and look at how we can read the culture to see the signs of Christ’s return.

Saturday, April 6 – Jennifer Kennedy Dean – Praying the Promises of God – When the ground around us is shaking and unstable, the best thing we can do is look at God’s past faithfulness in our lives. On the weekend edition of Live the Promise we’ll hear Susie’s discussion with Jennifer Kennedy Dean. We explore the promises in Scripture and what it looks like when we pray God’s Word back to Him. Jennifer’s new book is Praying the Promises of God.
